Notes from 11/3/14
A - Three fingers of dense white head. Dissipates to 1.5 fingers of rolling, bubbly head. Excellent lacing and retention. Unfiltered hazy orange body.
S - Dank. Oaky funk. Earth mixed with tropical fruit. More sweet oak and earth notes.
T - Follows the nose, but with additional and significant juicy sweet citrus and a bitter citrus rind finish. Earthiness and funk are both subtle and compliment the fruit really well. Oak plays in the background well with some sour grapes. As it warms, way more grapes and barrel.
M - Lower carbonation and finishes on the dry side with some sweetness.
O - Super complex and despite all that's going on it really works.
