This is a really great beer and I've loved the previous versions of it. Not on the hoppy but any IPA standard but it has a solid mix of malt and fruits.

All I have to say about this beer is holy aroma. Absolutely beautiful. Bright, tropical fruit like nobody's business. A bit dank on the palate and not nearly as much of the tropical fruit notes, but still damn tasty.

16 oz can. Pours hazy golden orange, white head fades to a lasting thin layer. Sweet malt up front met by piney and grapefruit hops. Thin to med soft mouth. These Morph brews are just solid all around.

3/17/16 canning stamp. New Can Graphics and it looks awesome. Poured into a tulip.

Appears a touch cloudy with a copper color to it, but as I poured the remaining few ounces, it hazed up quite a bit. Nice one finger head that leaves nice rings of lace.

The nose for me is of some citrus peel, fresh hops and definitely sweet malts in that order. Smells well rounded, not a total juice bomb, which is a nice change from all these Trill fruity juice bombs. Also, for me it leans a bit towards a west coast - ish style.

The taste is a nice balance of fresh fruity hops and nice sweet malts. I quite like it. The piney resiny quality is there, but the fruitiness is playing a pretty strong role as well. Pine is very prominent too.

The mouthfeel is this good even coated creaminess. Medium carbonation with medium body. Nice piney tingle with a fair bit of bitterness. Very nice.

This one so far doesn't hold a candle to the 1/21/16 batch, but I still dig it. I will let my last can chill in the fridge for a couple more weeks to see if it's any different. Either way I like that they have made " Morph" a regular brew with what seems like a twice a month schedule.
Keep it up Night Shift ! Cheers

16oz can. 3/17/2016 canning date. Served in a snifter glass.

Pours a darker copper body, somewhat opaque and cloudy but not straight hazy juice; two finger white head with great retention, fair bit of lacing. Smells of papaya, a bit of citrus and a moderate floral/pine resin with a moderate caramel sweetness. Seems like a balanced IPA at first sniff. Flavour is heavier on the caramel sweetness but there is a mild papaya flavour with some pine resin, and a bit of sweet caramel booziness that lingers a bit. Surprising. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, just enough, fair bit of carbonation, refreshing but a bit heavy and hot on the finish.

Hazy but not opaque golden orange with a fluffy white head.
Aroma is resiny, tropical and sticky
Lots of tropical fruit in the flavor, big pineapple and mango, some citrus and pine as well. A little vegetal which keeps it from being top top tier. May calm down with some time in the can.
A hint of sticky alcohol, but relatively large body, low bitterness.
Very good "NE IPA", reminds me a bit of Epiphany.

Surprisingly clear on the pour, but when I swirled the last couple ounces of liquid in the can and poured it, it added noticeable haze. Not sure if I like that or not, as my first couple sips pre-haze seemed to have a greater acuity of flavor than post. No matter, nice nose, I get strawberry/orange/pine. The wife said it smelled like the inside of a Jamba Juice store. Palate is solid, some backing herbal/pine bitterness, with the fruity hops taking the lead role. It's pleasant, if a little muddied, and finishes with a mildly astringent bitterness. Oddly kinda reminded me of Sip of Sunshine (another brew that I find solid, though unspectacular), that orangey/tropical vibe. I think I like Santili from these guys more than this, but it's a solid brew you wouldn't be bummed to find sitting in your fridge.

Can. New art. Poured light orange. I know these beers are generally well liked but I have not been smitten with several. This was probably their best. Not as sugary sweet as many. Smelled and tasted like tropical fruits. Very citrusy. Still sweet but not quite overbearing. Well done.

Another great batch of this rotating series. Morph is definitely my favorite go to beer and excited that it is now bi weekly offered. This is the perfect mix of pine and fruit. Nicely done again nightshift.

Not sure why I bother reviewing since it's a one-and-done...total commitment! Aroma is fresh hops, citrus, pine and malt in that order. Taste of pineapple, mango, melon and apricot followed by a crackery malt. Crisp, dry, imbalanced and super drinkable but the mouthfeel is a bit light; I like the taste to follow through and linger after the sip. This finishes on a watery note. Aftertaste is bitter not pungent, snappy not cloying. Short of the excellence established by Santilli and Whirlpool, but SHIT this is delicious. Night Shift is on point.

Picked this up on a stop during a road trip today. I'll have to say that this isn't my favorite morph of the many that I have had. But still a really good take on an IPA. I think perhaps that some of the varieties of hops don't mix as well together as they could.
