Canned 6/02/20
Pours a huge fluffy almost 2 finger head with moderate retention, fair lacing, very clear light golden pale color
Nose brings a bit of grainy malt and some wheat like characters, light peppery spice phenols, some mild golden sweet malt, touch of fruity ester notes, touch of farmhouse saison earthy aroma, little honey sweetness
Taste brings more sweet malts, grainy doughy malt character, a bit of farmhouse saision yeast funk with light peppery and spice phenols, with mild generic fruity esters, light bubblegum notes, and a touch of herbal hops with a little bitterness, drier but mild sticky finish, a bit more bitter hops
Mouth is med bod, med-lighter carb, a bit too light for saison
Overall OK but not great, a bit light on most things, especially carb and general saison farmhouse characters, but still decent
