Cherry Ale With Spices And Milk Sugar. How many pies makes a piescraper? We couldn't agree on an answer, so we made this cherry pie beer instead. Cherry Piescraper sips with notes of tart cherry, a touch of vanilla, and delicious spices.

This is my least favorite of the "Piescraper" series so far. I'm not getting cherry pie whatsoever. It's coming off more as cherry ice cream but it's pretty light on the cherry at that. There is way too much lactose and way too little of everything else. Too sweet, not tart enough and no crust/bread aspect whatsoever.

Canned 11/22/22
I bought this one without remembering that I had tried the Key Lime Piescraper at the tap room one day and did not like it. In fact I didn’t remember until I went to grab this just now. I didn’t review the lime variant, but I recall it being much too sweet. Hopefully that’s not the case here but let’s find out
Pours a cloudy orange with 2 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
Ok, it’s definitely sweet in the nose, but there’s a pretty good balance to it despite its simplicity. I’m picking up on aromas of French vanilla, jammy cherry, lemon juice, doughy malt, graham cracker, and light wheat
It takes quite a dive in taste. Not the worst thing I’ve ever had but way too heavy handed with the vanilla. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting sweet cherry, graham cracker, sweet vanilla, honey, light caramel, and doughy malt. The swallow brings notes of cherry candy, sweet vanilla, doughy malt, and caramel
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes neutral but very sweet
This is a strange beer. The sweetness level is ridiculous, but I also don’t hate it. Finishing the full can is a task though

Imperial pint
Look: Slightly hazy amber-orange, pouring a 1 finger head which dissipated
Smell: vanilla ice cream, lightly toasted malt, maraschino cherries
Taste: Doughy malt, cherry and a hint of hops bitterness. Finish carries a hint of baking spices, and lightly toasted malt, and more hops
Feel: Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth finish
Overall: Its just okay, Was expecting more in the flavor due to the nose being so sweet but it was more bitter than I expected
