Pours a crystal-clear sunflower-gold body topped with two and a half fingers of thick, fluffy, eggshell-white foam; solid head retention yields a thin layer of cap, moderate, creamy collar, and a decent spread of spotty lacing holding tentatively to the walls of the glass.
Aromas of pale malt and a soft minerality greet edges of honeysuckle and a more defined wildflower honey pronouncing over time while toasted white bread accents tinges of fruity esters throughout.
Taste brings baked dough and bread crusts into a wispy minerality over the mid-palate and a fading dollop of honey lingering past the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a light body sporting a choppy fluff of moderate carbonation; a flaky lightness lingers to a pseudo-grit, drying cooly to a clean finish.
Bready sweetness sways an otherwise inconsistent profile to a briefly compelling display, though not quite enough for any lasting impact; a perfectly acceptable, if sparsely flawed, interpretation of a Festbier.
