Garden Party Pilsner is a 5.8% pilsner that celebrates the heart and hustle of Causeway Street. Whether you’re cheering for the black & gold or rooting for Banner 18, Garden Party has you covered.

Dual-colored for dual loyalties – this beer is a toast to both teams and the Boston sports icons we rally behind. Garden Party sips crisp and crushable, with notes of biscuit, honey, and zesty hops.

I love Night Shift. However, this is just a good Pilsner, not a great one. I actually think Nite-Lite has a little more character. I’ll buy this one again, though, especially if I can grab a four-pack in late spring/early summer.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The beer is served a clear golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strong of bready and grainy smell mixed with a bit of caramel and yeast. Along with these aromas comes a touch of floral and herbal hop.
Taste - The taste is rather clean and crisp upfront, with a bready and light graininess mixed with a bit of caramel. At the same time there is a touch of the floral hop and a little bit of harvest fruit of pear. Toward the end of the taste the floral hop is joined by a touch of hay and herb, leaving one with a rather easy natured and somewhat bready/grainy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body is medium in thickness and has a moderate carbonation level. The middle of the road nature of the feel is great for the graininess and easy natured abv, making for a nice easy sipper.
Overall - A rather nice pilsner overall. Good flavor and an easy drinking nature.

Firm head but small. It recedes slowly in a lumpy fashion. Some thin ring lacing with tiny spots in between.

Faint smell that’s more malty than hoppy.

Some macro elements to this beer like raw barley grain and a diminished bitterness. Good body with an elevated carbonation. The finish is mildly bitter resulting in a short aftertaste. Overall, meh.

Picked up a few cans as part of a mixed twelve pack of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for about sixteen dollars. My twenty ninth brew from these guys. Just ok for me..

Pours a fluffy foamy 1 finger head with fair retention, a bit of lacing, semi hazy golden pale color

Nose brings lots of doughy straw malts, grainy sweet pilsner malt, bready, doughy, straw, lots of pilsner, fair floral herbal hop

Taste brings loads of cereal grainy malt, more of the straw and doughy malt, a bit of raw dough, bready, a mild honey malt character, soft potential decoction layered mash, into a mild sweet golden honey-biscuit character, some floral hops with med to lighter bitterness, a bit herbal grassy, drier soft finish

Mouth is med bod, soft layered decoction, med prickly carb

Overall pretty nice, lots of great base pilsner malt and some layered potential decoction mash, a touch light on the hops but otherwise a nice pils

Pours a lighter yellow color with a decent, short lived head. Sweet, malty aroma and the taste follows suit. Has a pleasant breadiness to it that I enjoyed. Carbonation is on the low side and it lacks the crispness I expect from a good pilsner. It finishes slightly sweet Enjoyable overall, but there are better pilsners available. I probably will not revisit this one.
