Canned 10/31/23.
L: Pours an opaque yellow gold with a creamy white head that hangs around for a while. Splotchy lacing.
S: Big aromas of pineapple and peach.
T: Follows nose up front and middle, then pivots to a dry and slightly bitter finish. A touch of astringency and heat.
F: Medium mouthfeel, with some prickliness.
O: Outstanding appearance and aroma. The flavor begins deliciously but ends with bit of unwelcome greenness. Only 13 days from canning, so could improve in a week or two.

On tap, pours a very hazy tawny gold. Smell and taste represent the Galaxy hop extremely well: pineapple, citrus and earthy dank predominate. This is an exceptional IIPA, from one of my favorite breweries.

Canned on 7/12/22; consumed on 8/2/22
Pours a turbid, milky gold hue capped with two fingers of rocky, fluffy, white foam; solid head retention leaves a slight cap, moderate, frothy collar, and a comprehensive coating of soapy, webby/spotty lacing spread across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of grapefruit essence meet musty passionfruit, with mango peel sweetness further contrasting composting white grape as silky resins linger.
Taste opens to musty passionfruit and a distant grapefruit twang; papaya and mossy resins wash over the mid-palate before ceding to a more prominent tangerine zest on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel features a body on the lighter end of medium and a moderate, prickly carbonation fading to dry resins and a vague grit developing past the mid-palate, where a juicy subtext glosses over the back end to a boggy finish.
Sweaty-dank and layered with unbridled earthiness, the hop display is weighty and expressive; a fun yet challenging level of focused saturation seizing the overall experience.

Pours a murky/opaque matte orange with one finger of off-white foam. Aroma is grapefruit, papaya, tangerine, orange zest, and some mild green. The latter adds some bite, or heat, to the nose. Flavor profile follows the same path - grapefruit is out front with a semi-tart finish. Papaya, melon, and orange add on to the tropical fruits, with soft green sweeping in at the finish accompanying mild hop burn. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a light chalky texture that leans into a rindy pulp at the conclusion. Overall, splendid blend of tropical fruits, with some rindy texture to elevate it a bit. The green quality adds some heat though.

Pretty sure if these are what the tropical fruits tasted like on that Island Tom Hanks got stuck on, he would have stayed. Yeah, this ones delivers like Busby Berkeley while directing the dancing scenes in “Dames.” I wouldn’t call it top notch, but I’ll still stay for the after party.
Peace.

Opaque maize yellow with a densely moderate off-white head slowly settling to a fluffy film and bubbly collar leaving a few blobby arms of spongy lace.
The galaxy here gives me New Zealand vibes in a way I don't recall it ever doing for me before. It's a little peppery, which when paired with the ABV, amps up the spice with a little heat. This punchy vibe is paired with notes of passion fruit, mango and lemon zest
The medium body has a firmness to it, and a softly crisp carbonation that fines out into a lightly chewy dry finish.
Again, another can a month after packaging and not only am I finding no flaws, per se for the style, but it seems as though it's dead on fresh af. I can't imagine how green and potent this might have been off the line, but I'm really happy I'm having it now.
