Yellow, orange white foam.
hoppy, fruity, not in my face but pleasant.
Yeah, that's Nelson Sauvin. White wine and herbal, slightest bit of tang, should've bought a case. Fades a bit, still delectable.
Knocking carbonation down I think would be for the better.

Pours a beautiful orange juice colour. Very dense.
Smell is nelson sauvin without the unlikable gasoline aroma.
Taste is the same.
Feel is soft, slight carbonation, lovely rich feel.
Best I've had from monkish, and probably best IPA I've had yet.

One month old. Can to wine glass:
L: Pours a milky light yellow with a foamy head that dissipates very quickly and doesn’t leave any lacing. No floaters.
S: Fresh strawberries, white grapes, lemon and orange. Very fruity.
T: Lightly candied lemon and fresh orange paired with strawberries and white grapes. Hoppy, fresh and fruity.
F: Very juicy with a low carbonation. Quite crushable.
O: Great beer. Probably the perfect showcase of Nelson hops. Haven’t had a better single hop IPA in a while.

Glass: Monkish 16-oz. mug
Price: $22.00 for a 4-pack
From: Monkish Brewing Company in Torrance, Calif.
Purchased: March 19, 2021
Consumed: March 26, 2021
Misc.: Canned on March 16, 2021
Grabbed a 4-pack of this, and two others on a recent trip to Monkish. It called for “Double dry-hopped (DDH) Double IPA featuring the great Nelson Sauvin hops from Freestyle Hops.”
Poured a murky light golden color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see some bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Perfect foamy layered lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Nelson, gooseberry, white grape, tangerine, mango, papaya, orange juice, grapefruit rind and pineapple. About the same from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Big Nelson, gooseberry, white grape, tangerine, orange juice, mango, papaya, pineapple and grapefruit. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Another excellent Monkish beer. (Overall - 4.25)

Canned on 11/30/21; consumed on 12/18/21
Pours an opaque pale gold body topped with a finger and a half of fluffy, soapy, white foam; solid head retention yields islands of paper-thin cap, a moderate, frothy collar, and a healthy spatter of thin, webby lacing spread across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to orange marmalade with a bready malt backing before inviting waves of lush mango sporting hints of pineapple over the middle, followed by creamy guava meeting a slightly resinous grassiness into the back end.
Taste shows tangerine and grapefruit nectar upfront, with pineapple, mango skins, passionfruit, and papaya instigating a tropical burst carried through the profile as tinges of lime accent the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body with a carbonation on the higher end of moderate as juicy resins linger into the mid-palate; creamy touches into the back end fond a soft prickle of bitterness into an otherwise plush finish.
Consummate and composed, a plush profile and consistently bright expressions find a steady harmony between juicy semi-sweetness and attenuated resinous bittering; a mark of the higher-tier Monkish NEIPA.
