Growler picked up a few days ago and enjoyed tonight with the Boise crew... Pours mostly clear pale golden with a nice white head.. Aromas show grainy pale malt with just hints of something that "might be" yeast character... Flavor is fine, but a bit water with minor clove and something I associate with apple/pear... Very drinkable, but a "light" saison at best.

Served on tap in a pint glass-
Appearance – The beer is served a light yellow straw color with a one finger head of fizzy white form. The foam dissipates rather rapidly, leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma is strongest of a biscuit malt smell mixed with hints of citrus and yeast. Along with these aromas comes some notes of coriander and a little bit of clove.
Taste - The taste begins as would be expected from the nose with a biscuit flavor mixed with some yeastiness. At the forefront there is also a little citrus sweetness which is accompanied by some wheat as well. As the taste advances the citrus fades, drying out the flavor profile. All the while spice flavors of coriander and clove come to the tongue and with an increase in the yeast and some flavors of grass, end up leaving one with a somewhat dry (but not too dry) and yeasty wheat biscuit flavored taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is a bit on the more watery side with a carbonation level that is a little bit high. The high carbonation was rather nice, although the wateriness did not uphold the flavors all that well and made it somewhat a more bland taster.
Overall- Alright overall, but lacking much depth and flavor. I was expecting higher, as their last Belgium brew (the dubbel) was fantastic.
