The saga continues! Curiosity Sixteen is a bit drier than your typical Tree House pale beer, much like C15. We get super dank and pungent aromas of orange, fleshy papaya, and grapefruit rind. The flavor follows suit, with potent notes of blended tropical fruit juice with a dry sticky finish that makes this one a challenge to stop drinking. The working title was Dank Sticky Tropical Delicious Hop Juice. We think you're going to love it!

Tallboy can with sticker label; poured into a SP wine stem.
Appearance: Opaque, glowing, golden yellow bodied beer with massive white head. Great head retention and moderate lacing on the side of the glass that settles down into uneven clumpy cap of head.
Smell: Mango, papaya, and pineapple. Nice dank hop aroma as well.
Taste: light bitterness. Oranges, melon rind, mango, and papaya. Moderate dank and dirty hop presence in the middle of the beer. In the finish a slightly dry grapefruit rind and growning pine needle presence that remains a little stronger than lightly bitter, but does not quite reach a moderately bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: light bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Creamy, light, and fluffy textured carbonation. Very drinkable. The body of this beer has a nice juicy hop quality about them.
Overall: Treehouse really does IPA's well. I have begun to enjoy IPA's more so now than I ever thought that I could and I don't mind seeking out good IPA's now; thanks to several East Coast breweries. The juicy IPA movement is much better beer than the traditional "brutally bitter" IPA's of the past that I truely do dispise. The East Coast is leading the charge for juicy hoppy beers and I like what they are doing! I am going to go ahead and say it... East Coast hoppy beers are the best in the world, this Treehouse beer adds another impressive arguement for that statement. As always, bonus points for canned format. Treehouse is a true rockstar with almost everything they sell. This is a unique IPA and very enjoyable IPA.

I am a huge fan of the entire curiosity series. I have only had the luxury of trying from 13 on so far but this is the least of my favorites. Still an amazing beer, would drink everyday if I could, but it just wasn't as fantastic as the ones that came before it!
