Notes: The final brew from our 2015 small batch series! We composed Domestique to showcase Simcoe and Citra hops...with a few others layered in. Domestique drinks with a nice dry finish that lets the spicy tangerine, orange rind, and peach character to shine. If you liked our previous small batch release Strider, then you should enjoy it’s big brother, Domestique. Happy New Year!

750ml growler into a Grrrz teku. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a foamy, 1.5 finger powder white head with great retention. Beer is a cloudy ruby red with sticky, stringy lace that marks the side of the glass. Nice.

Nose is pineapple, citrus, papaya and mango. Sweet with a juicy hop bitterness. Very aromatic.

Opens citrus, papaya and pineapple. Some resin and grass in the middle mixed with bark and copious amounts of tropical fruit peel bitterness. Juicy in the middle and end with a soft, pillowy fruit presence right at the finish. Dry, citrus peel hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Impressive as always.

Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and quenching in the mouth and goes down dry and sticky. Finishes messy with a sticky, filmy aftertaste. Real juicy!

Very very good but not the greatest in their repatoire. The flavor is there but for the punch, I'd rather have one of their single IPAs. Still, well worth trying and a standout in the category.

The least exciting beer that I have had from the Tree House lineup. It kind of tastes like every other beer from the Monson brewery, minus the tropical flavor and juicy finish.

Pour from a 750 ml bottle to tulip glass with a big frothy head and dark super hazy color. Smell is deliciously dank & piney with hints of orange citrus. Taste follows similarly with dank piney upfront but with faint peach & light citrus on finish. Feel is sharp but creamy, reminiscent of Maharaji. Overall, a nice alternative to Julius & its variants. Very excited to have experienced this new beer from an amazing brewery.
