For this rendition of All That Is we added black currants. The flavor contribution is subtle and cohesive, amplifying the existing dark chocolate and raspberry notes of the base beer and contributing a soft acidity and tannic structure. A dark and mysterious treat, this is sure to please the more adventurous and curious palate.

Enjoyed at the brewery.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark black hue with a very fat one finger mocha head that fades to leave sticky lacing and a creamy blanket. Almost looks nitro!
S - Big aromas of chocolate syrup, fudgy brownies, big bright coffee grounds. Clear and definite underlying aroma of currants. Nice fresh red berries and a little jam.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with excellent chocolate syrup and bakers chocolate. The coffee is nice and rich, good roast. Nice lactose, rather sweet. The currants are just a little bit jammy, good red fruit sweetness and light tart finish before becoming coffee bitterness.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, medium body, really silky.
O - Overall this was a very solid coffee milk stout. The coffee notes are excellent as is the chocolate. The addition of currants add a nice almost raspberry subtleness to the beer that is enjoyable while still allowing the base beer to shine through.
