Absurdism is a milk stout brewed with chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and cheesecake. On the nose we experience aromas of chocolate cheese cake, molasses, and a hint of sweet strawberry. The flavor follows suit, with dense flourless cake notes and a rich, sweetened condensed milk-like character on the finish. It is a decadent treat for the adventurous palate that enjoys a sweet and filling stout. Enjoy!

L - pours an absurdly dark brown black with the most decadently mocha head. Such froth.
S - nose is loads of sugar. The sweetest iced coffee you can find at Starbucks. So much chocolate, coffee, caramel...
T - more restrained than I'd expect based on the nose. More hoppiness at play gives it a cleaner, fresher taste. The cheesecake is a unique addition that gives it a lactosey feel, but not as sweet. Thickens it up good though so the cloy is still there. Vanilla bean and caramel syrup complement, along with roasted coffee beans and cream cheese. Finish is crisp and airy, somehow not as disgustingly heavy and sweet as you'd expect when halfway through the sip.
F - Tree House does something to the draft beer to make it thick and chewy as fuck. Maybe nitro or something, but the canned beers never have this quality. I'm a fan. Like molasses over my tongue. Motor oil. Manages to brighten toward the end, sucking up all the sugariness.
O - I'm glad this is only a 10oz pour. Goddamn this is sludgey and decadent. The first half is pure dessert, but the ass half somehow lightens up for round 2. Dangerously sweet.

Super nuanced and layered in flavor right out of the tap. Strong citris notes and, yes, what I'll label as cheesecake based on the description but mostly reads as "pleasantly, interestingly different to my palate. Couldn't stop sipping it cold. Aroma stayed outstanding throughout while nuanced, complex flavor profile was best cold, which I'd the last thing I expect from a stout. Another outstanding release from Tree House.

weird....kinda all over the place. didn’t bother reading the description went in blind. tasted like pepper & cinnamon. Looked great. Smelled peppery. Feel was rich. Not too cloyingly sweet. I don’t get cheesecake.
