Notes: Passion fruit & Hibiscus tart is a session beer constructed to be a refreshing, easy drinking beverage with a balanced level of acidity and a dry body. It is brewed with a significant amount of wheat in the grist bill and conditioned upon judicious doses of passion fruit and dried hibiscus flower. After conditioning for several weeks in stainless, it is imparted with a tight and spritzy carbonation. Passion Fruit & Hibiscus Tart features tongue pleasing acidity balanced by strong aromas of passion fruit, wild strawberry, tropical sweet tarts, subtle funk. It finishes cleanly, eschewing bracing sourness, with hints of white wheat and cracker malt gracing the palate. This is a thoughtfully constructed beer that is intended to be refreshing, highly flavorful, and pleasing to drink, especially on a hot day. Enjoy!

Pours pinkish-red in color, clear, with 1/4 inch head. Taste is huge passion fruit, sour mix and light flower. Light bodied, high carbonation and slightly tart. I really like all the great passion fruit taste. Nice and clean. Would get this again but I prefer the apricot tart.

Picked-up a single can at the Tree House Brewery in Charlton for $3.80. My ninety first brew from these guys. Decent enough, just not a fan of the style.

Gorgeous looking in the glass like one of those trendy orange hued rose wines. Fairly clear with tiny effervescence rising steadily. The passionfruit is right upfront in the aroma and if a nose can be tart, this one is. A hint of the wheat used here is also in evidence. Nice and soft on the palate with the light carbonation bringing forth the fruit flavors - beach plum, passion, raspberry coalescing into the sour finish. Well balanced.

Picked up a can at the brewery and shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice clear rose hue with a one finger white head that fades to leave light wisps.

S - Big aromas of passion fruit tartness and musky tropical notes, creamy wheat, lactic tartness. Excellent background of hibiscus as well. Super aromatic!

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of musty passion fruit, big tropical notes. Good light lactic tartness, little wheat. Finish is loads of hibiscus.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little bit of flemmy on the finish.

O - Overall this was a very solid kettle sour from Tree House. Excellent passion fruit notes, really aggressive with nice hibiscus.

Thanks to rudzud, canned 8/29/19
Pours a light fizzy head, low retention and slight hazy reddish pink color

Nose loads of passion fruit, juicy raw passion fruit as will as hibiscus and tea, under that light tart lacto fruity funk and creamy wheat, doughy

Taste tart cranberry like sourness, tart fruity fruit skin, some passion fruit less than the nose, a touch of hibiscus herbal tea, fruity, light doughy malt and lacto creamy sour funk, bright acidity, not too flemmy on the finish

Mouth is medium to lighter bod, decent fizzy carb, fair acidity

Overall quite nice, great fruit, nice tartness, good beer
