Notes: The Curiosity Series has been our template for hoppy beer exploration for almost seven years. It enables us to try things, and to experiment with hops in a way that’s outside the box of our core line-up. This batch was brewed with a complex blend of American hops to further learn about and to enjoy the character of new lots from our 2019 hop selections. Included in the blend is Columbus, Centennial, and Citra, lending dank, ruby red grapefruit-like overtones to this tropical double IPA. It is a potent one, indeed! It carves out a unique flavor profile with an astonishingly creamy mouthfeel - Enjoy!

L - rawr! Pours a pale, yeasty yellow with a big, voluptuous head. Dayum.

S - aromas of orange, coriander, and oats. Tangerine, satsuma, and peach juice. Hint of apple.

T - zesty and prickly up front with fresh-cracked black pepper, grapefruit rind, and limey citrus. Quickly transitions to wholesome peach, mango, and cantaloupe. A strong tangy bitterness tangles with peppy bubblegum fruit salad brightness. The dry bitterness ultimately wins out on the finish with an almost minty coolness in the grassy hops.

F - silky and smooth. Peak TH creaminess. Low carbonation, but just electric enough to love every second it flows down your throat.

O - similar in tangy nature to C89, this one features an oatier, fruitier juiciness, but isn't quite as saturating. Brighter with more pop, TH continues to impress.

Picked-up a single can at the Tree House Brewery in Charlton for $4.80 (89 was $5.05). My ninety fourth brew from these guys. Solid brew, liked 89 a bit better.
