Blend Two is an imperial stout containing threads from our extensive spirit barrel program, including Truth and other yet to be named imperial stout aged for over 22 months in bourbon barrels of varied origin, blended with a classic batch of Double Shot made with House-roasted coffee. It pours a brilliant and clean black color in the glass and presents with a pleasing, rocky, mocha-colored head. We taste and smell fudgy chocolate, vanilla, tootsie rolls, dark chocolate coffee character, a hint of black cherry, and milk chocolate-covered bourbon candies. The barrel character is well-integrated, making Blend Two an enjoyable beer to drink, rather than simply taste as a novelty - enjoy!

10 oz pour on tap at the brewery. Pours pitch black with a medium-small tan head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma and flavor feature dark roasted malts, black coffee, vanilla, bourbon, semisweet chocolate, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is smooth and moderately carbonated; the 12.3% abv is impressively well-hidden. Good stuff, even on a hot July day.

Outstanding imperial stout. One of Tree House's newer beers, couldn't make out date printed on bottom of can. Pours a jet black opaque color with some tan head that left small rings and sheets of lingering lacing. Nice. Smells amazing, deep dark rich roast coffee, dark chocolate, nuttiness, malt, figs, toffee, vanilla. Taste follows the nose, amazing balance and depth, really very delicious. Don't know the ABV but it was well hidden. Smooth, sticky, decadent mouthfeel, coated the palate. Just the right amount of carbonation. Outstanding beer.
