Notes: There has not been much to love about this year, but it’s certainly one we won’t forget. Though we were not able to celebrate our 8th anniversary as we had planned, we wanted to acknowledge Eight years of Tree House in the form of a beer that encompasses our progress and presents you with the distillation of our efforts to date.

Constructed to be more dense and fluffy than the average Tree House Double IPA, Eight pours a turbid orange color in the glass and puts for the most potent, unique Tree House melon aroma in memory. We taste and smell over ripe citrus, sweet honeydew melon, a distinctive lemon-lime note, and papaya sorbet. Throughout it exhibits our beloved House character in spades, balanced by a zesty orange rind-like finish atop an extra creamy mouthfeel. Equally beautiful is the appearance of this beer with its dense, billowing head and clingy lace - attributes that carry aroma and entice your palate prior to taking a sip.

The enjoyment of any beer ultimately comes from how it tastes, how drinkable it is, and how it makes you feel - to that end, we find Eight to be a triumph that represents the best we have to offer and we are confident you will agree. We look forward to sharing more about where we are headed soon, but in the meantime would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. We are deeply thankful for it; now, more than ever - thank you!

Canned 9/24/20, tasted 10/27/20. Picked this up along with Tree House's re-release of their other anniversary beers. Not my absolute favorite of the bunch (Seven and Brighter than Starlight were the cream of the crop, in my book), but a really delicious beer. Very hazy pale yellow appearance, almost like grapefruit juice. It feels nicely fluffy in the mouth. Just a bit acidic, but nicely balanced with fruity sweetness. Overall, a really tasty DIPA.

Typical cloudy orange haze here with lots of melon and tropical fruit nose. That fruit with added citrus comes through in the taste accompanied by a hint of honey. Finished beautifully sip after sip with great mouthfeel.

Picked-up a few cans as part of a mixed case at Tree House Brewery in Charlton a week ago. My 109th brew from these guys. This was very nice, you don't notice the high ABV.
