There has not been much to love about this year, but it’s certainly one we won’t forget. Though we were not able to celebrate our 8th anniversary as we had planned, we wanted to acknowledge Eight years of Tree House in the form of a beer that encompasses our progress and presents you with the distillation of our efforts to date.
Constructed to be more dense and fluffy than the average Tree House Double IPA, Eight pours a turbid orange color in the glass and puts for the most potent, unique Tree House melon aroma in memory. We taste and smell over ripe citrus, sweet honeydew melon, a distinctive lemon-lime note, and papaya sorbet. Throughout it exhibits our beloved House character in spades, balanced by a zesty orange rind-like finish atop an extra creamy mouthfeel. Equally beautiful is the appearance of this beer with its dense, billowing head and clingy lace - attributes that carry aroma and entice your palate prior to taking a sip.
The enjoyment of any beer ultimately comes from how it tastes, how drinkable it is, and how it makes you feel - to that end, we find Eight to be a triumph that represents the best we have to offer and we are confident you will agree. We look forward to sharing more about where we are headed soon, but in the meantime would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. We are deeply thankful for it; now, more than ever - thank you!

Pours a bright hazy yellow, several fingers of creamy head which lingers before dissipating to a ring with good lacing.
Nose is tropical citrus, mango, lemon, pineapple.
Taste follows with tropical citrus and a hint of pine.
Good thick mouthfeel without being too filling.
Overall solid IPA but doesn't scream to me as something truly special

A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing
S: Citrus, tropical fruit, melon, and some lighter floral notes
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of citrus and tropical fruit. Picks up the melon and lighter floral notes. Light-moderate bitterness. Finishes with lingering melon and citrus
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: Another great anniversary IPA from TH. Super easy to drink. All 7 hops work very well together, but unsurprisingly the citra, galaxy, and mosaic stand out the most (simcoe, amarillo, centennial, and warrior being the other 4). Definitely worth checking out if you can
