Sweet Ride Peanut Butter + Hazelnut coffee is a confectionary milk stout brewed with peanut butter and hazelnut coffee. It pours syrup-like in the glass and puts forth flavors and aromas of chocolate-covered peanut butter balls, fresh hazelnut coffee, and dark chocolate hazelnut spread. This is a rich treat and one that is sure to do well as a hearty dessert this winter!

Pours pitch black color with a brown colored head that faded slowly and left minimal spotty lacing. Smells of dark chocolate, coffee grinds, cocoa nibs, nutty notes, caramel, soy sauce, vanilla, brown sugar, piney notes and roasted grains. Tastes like it smells but with the additions of smoked grains, roasted peanuts, chocolate milk, marshmallows burnt over a campfire and more chocolate. Not as much peanut butter or hazelnut as advertised but still a really tasty stout.

Picked-up a single bottle at Tree House Brewery last week for twelve dollars. My one hundred and twenty ninth brew from these guys. This was a disappointment. Cannot taste any PB @ all. Tastes fine, but assembly-line stuff.

Pours opaque, jet black in color with minimal head. Taste is big vanilla and white sugar, roasted malt, slight hazelnut. I cannot find the peanut butter. Very very sweet--not quite cloying but very close to the border, heavy body, low carbonation. Gosh I wanted to like this more. Tastes like a sugary sweet Tree stout that they have infinite variations of the same beer. Not bad but the added flavors do not pop enough over the base Tree House milk stout.

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Roasted malt, peanut butter, cocoa, hazelnut coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel
T: Starts off with a mix of roasted malt, peanut butter, and cocoa. Picks up the hazelnut coffee, dark chocolate, and some caramel. Finishes with lingering hazelnut and peanut butter
M: Medium-full bodied with low carbonation. Quite thick
O: A nutty dessert beer that makes for a great sipper. The peanut butter and hazelnut coffee are both highlighted nicely, along with some cocoa and caramel to add a bit more sweetness. Definitely on the sweeter side, but with some restraint. Worth checking out
