Brewed in the Autumn of 2020 and left to condition naturally for several months in our horizontal stainless tank, Cozy emerged with an overwhelmingly smooth disposition carrying flavors of molten chocolate, caramel, toffee, rich dark fruit, and light coffee. It carries the most marvelous and dense head, an appealing start to the smooth, velvety beer to follow. It is with a tremendous amount of pride that we share this beer with you.

16oz can served in a nonic pint glass. Dated Autumn 2025. Got it from @braunmeister_1943.

Pours black with a thin, dense, creamy tan head. Smell is creamy and rich, something big and bready, chocolate malt, coffee.

Taste is moderate latte sweetness, maybe a bit of a twist toward mocha with the chocolate vibes. Nice roasty bitterness, noticeable yeasty funk, maybe something like stewed figs.

Mouthfeel is big, thick, chewy. Very, very nice beer.

Purchased directly from the brewery in Charlton, MA.

L- An almost deep reddish ebony color with a frothy tan head.

S- Subtle dark bread and coffee notes.

T- Bittersweet coffee and cocoa flavors.

F- Full mouthfeel with light carbonation.

O- Excellent Baltic Porter. The alcohol is noticeable, but not off-putting.

Dark black in color with a thin, tan head. Nose is coffeelike, maybe some caramel coming across. Taste was sweet, coffee, caramel, chocolate. Small amount of bitterness on backend.

thin. not much 'aroma' to draw from, but a nice draw of flavor! not much exciting, except for the relatively high abv, easy drinkability, and super easy flavor. truly a demarcation (finally) between a porter and a stout, regardless of any interpretation you may have previously had....

Poured from a pint can, the body is a very dark brown with a good fluffy initial head. Good lacing.

Nose is a mix of charred malt and a light roasted coffee.

Taste is the malty char, bold and up front. A wee hint of chocolate is present but it offers an unsweetened note. The mix is a welcoming blend of strong flavors that masks the high ABV.

Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. Carbonation is strong.

Very good porter that embraces the style much to my happiness.

This is the first Baltic porter I’ve had, so I’m reviewing it against my tastes, not a style guide. It’s a 16 oz can about six weeks old and checks in at 9.2% ABV. Price was $6.50 per can.

It pours the darkest brown can be without being black, with just a subtle red tone to it as well. The head is ample and off white. It looks the part.

Nose is really complex. Toffee, roasty, licorice, a little dark rye bread. A little coffee too.

There is so much flavor here. The first note is bittersweet chocolate, quickly turning into dark bread, burnt caramel and licorice. The caramel really lingers and grows stronger as the beer warms. It’s not barrel aged, but there is a note of whisky here, too. Delightful.

This is just fabulous beer. It’s got tons of flavor but without the abrasive sweetness that most of tree house’s stouts include. The high ABV gives it a thick body, but the taste pulls you back for more and makes this beer go down very, very easily. Buy this if you get the chance.

Poured from 16oz can into pint glass in August 2022, that I purchased at their brewery in Herndon. There is a date of 1/27/2022 on the bottom of the can, and I drank this about 1 month after I purchased it. Stamp on the bottom of the can reads "Stay Warm Out There 01/27/22 10:35:07"

Appearance: Very dark black with almost no head. The head was dark brown, and disappeared after a minute. It left only a little lacing on the glass, and no head remained after a minute.

Smell: Strong mix of aromas filled the room as soon as the can was opened. Roasted coffee, caramel, and chocolate aromas. Not much hop style citrus or pine aromas.

Taste: There is taste of chocolate, vanilla, and licorice. Also, some coffee and roasted malt flavors. They are more balanced than I expected from the aroma. Flavors are very bold. There is a strong alcohol presence that matches 9.2% on the label. A sweet chocolate, and vanilla aftertaste, that is really enjoyable.

Mouth-feel: Very thick, but with an extremely smooth and creamy body.

This is a very good Baltic Porter, and one of the best Porters I have ever drank. It has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer. The balance of flavors is outstanding. The flavors of coffee and roasted malt nicely balance the sweet chocolate and caramel flavors. It is very smooth and enjoyable to drink. I have enjoyed all the beers I've bought at Tree House, and I would buy this again.

16 oz can poured into a wine glass. Pours dark brown, nearly opaque, with a large tan head that fades away with very little lacing. Aroma and flavor feature intense roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated and full-bodied. The 9.2% abv is well-hidden. Overall this is a complex and fantastic Baltic porter.
