Double Shot Cold Brew is a special rendition of Double Shot deriving all of its coffee character from house-roasted and house-extracted cold brew concentrate.
Though the intensity of coffee character has never been more potent, a robust base beer results in perfect balance and flavor saturation. We taste and smell chocolate-covered espresso beans, ristretto, and chocolatey cold brew in this decadent and savor-worthy concoction. Enjoy with biscotti or any other breakfast pastry!

16 oz can poured into a snifter. Pours an opaque near-black with a creamy tan head - almost nitro-like action. Beautiful, with excellent lacing. Aroma and flavor feature black coffee, caramel, chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla, and bitter/earthy hops. Complex, delicious, and shockingly drinkable. Mouthfeel is well-carbonated, though not as viscous as most other TH stouts - maybe a bit thin by comparison, but this might actually add to the drinkability. The alcohol is well-hidden. Overall this is a stellar beer.

16oz. can into a Tree House teku. Shared with schen9303.
Pours a robust, 3 finger mocha head with excellent retention and lace. Beer is pitch black. Nose is mocha, expresso, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and fudge. Some lactose and vanilla creaminess as well. Very aromatic. Beer opens iced coffee, milk chocolate, mocha, and cocoa powder. More espresso notes in the middle with an incredibly robust dark chocolate and fudge presence. Somehow not too sweet. Vanilla and sweet cream towards the end with layers of brownie and more coffee at the finish. Very very good. Body is medium to full with low carbonation. Smooth and rich on the palate and goes down luscious with a long, lingering, sticky aftertaste.
This one's great. Can't wait to try the whole bean for comparison!
