Live Free is an American Double IPA featuring Citra and Motueka hops. It is loosely based on our Juice Project series. Pushing boundaries while retaining drinkability is of the utmost importance to us. To keep things balanced, we used a small amount of hops on the hot side of the process and dry-hopped with over eight pounds per barrel during the lengthy cold conditioning process. The resulting beer is absolutely brimming with juicy hop character featuring notes of pulpy citrus, mango, and passion fruit!

Don't normally write reviews but had a wild experience here. First sip was creamy and juicy with citrus and melon. Then a super green spicy hop bitterness took over, tasted like drinking raw hop water. Not sure if that was the intended outcome but that's what I got. Couldn't drink but a few ounces.

Poured into a teku , two finger creamy off white foam cap, good lacings , settles to a thick layer after five minutes over a hazy orange liquid
Aroma is orange citrus, pithy, mango, passionfruit
Taste is orange citrus, passionfruit, mango
Good sudsing , smooth creamy mouthfeel , hop taste, gentle hop nibble, semi dry finish
Good beer

16oz can served in a Mayflower pint glass. Received as retaliation from @WunderLlama in NBS BIF #14. Bottom actually has two overlapping stamps with different dates -- one says 09/15/21, the other 09/16/21. Can had the crap beaten out of it in shipping, but was resting peacefully for at least a week before I opened it.
Pours a very hazy pale whitish-amber with a huge fluffy head that contracts somewhat but doesn't exactly dissipate. Smell is lots of tropical fruit, a little bit of herbal/menthol, moderate amount of citrus zest and pine resin.
Taste is way heavier on the vegetal / herbal / resin notes and way way lighter on the juicy / fruity notes. Bitter, bordering on harsh. This is not criticism, just saying it's no fluffy juice bomb.
Mouthfeel is medium to light, very effervescent. Overall, this is a pretty good beer.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about twenty two dollars. My one hundred and ninety fourth brew from these guys. This was just ok for me.

A- Cloudy and super hazy yellow pour from the tallboy into a snifter. The head is a finger or so high with a thick creamy texture and good retention. Lots of lacing around the glass with a mix of webs and spottiness.
S- A mix of juicy fruits that are citrus and stone/tropical fruits with more zesty and spiciness than soft sweet nectar coming to mind. Orange, peach, tangerine, grapefruit and mango come to mind.
T- Pretty intense with a bit of booze/bitterness coming out here. Heavy on the zesty citrus again with pith and rind coming on pretty strong. Orange, tangerine and grapefruit with some lime, peach, apricot and mango. Some whole grains as well with a medium sweetness.
MF- Moderately heavy bodied with a silky and very smooth creamy body, TH nails it here all time. Soft with a moderate level of carbonation and a warm, bitter finish.
Maybe a bit too skewed toward the pithy citrus for me without that sweet, juicy balance that the best TH brews bring to the table.
