El Clásico is an American Pale Ale brewed as an homage to the early days of craft brewing while introducing the modern flair of hops grown in New Zealand. Entirely hopped with Cascade grown in New Zealand, and then cold-conditioned in horizontal stainless, El Clásico pours a glowing orange color in the glass and tastes like fresh grapefruit and vibrant citrus balanced with notes of pine. Inspired and characterful, we are delighted El Clásico has found its way into your loving embrace - enjoy!

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 09/20/21. Received as retaliation from @WunderLlama in NBS BIF #14.
Poured clear dark amber until the sediment at the bottom came out, now it's a hazy light amber. Head was initially medium sized, maybe a bit more than a finger, and now it's maybe a couple millimeters thick at the peak elevations and just a skin of fizz over most of the surface. Lacing, however, crawls about a centimeter up the side of the glass. Lots of visible carbonation. Smell is earthy, grassy, wet leafy. Maybe a hint of stonefruit.
Taste is fairly mild, maybe the stonefruit is a little more noticeable and peach/apricot oriented. Earthy/wet leafiness is downplayed a little bit, but the grassiness is still there. Also add in a bit of bready/doughy/yeasty character (but just a bit). Soft pine resin bitterness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium or the heavy side of light. Overall, nice pale ale! Probably wouldn't supplant SNPA, especially considering price and the fact that I can't buy this here, but certainly wouldn't turn it down.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about fourteen dollars. My one hundred and ninetieth brew from these guys. Another great LAB from TH, liked Fields of Gold a bit more.
