Decadence is an amplified rendition of Permanence, and the most decadent of our Maple Milk Stout family. It amps up the flavor profile with larger additions of maple and the innovative use of liquid cacao. We taste tongue-coating flavors of molten milk chocolate, dark maple syrup, coffee-maple ice cream, and chocolate-covered maple candies. It is incredibly flavorful yet never overly burdensome on the palate. It's dessert in a glass - enjoy!

Modest head production and retention.
Strong and rich nose, with notes of maple, wood, coffee, and chocolate, along with roasted malt notes of molasses and toffee - as well as coffee and chocolate, I'm sure, but any of those notes are driven by the additives.
A little thin for a Tree House stout; long finish.
Flavor follows the nose, with maple, chocolate, and coffee up front, along with notes of cola and molasses. After the initial hit of sweetness, coffee, roasted barley, and woodier maple notes take over on the back half.
This is very tasty, but it doesn't really live up to the name: Decadence. I expected a thicker, richer beer - dessert, not breakfast. This is more of the latter.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big dark chocolate powder and maple with dark roast coffee. Heavy body, low carbonation, sweet and roasty. This is a maple dark chocolate cordial. Really good but not as good as the others in the series. Maple often takes a backseat to the dark chocolate. Honestly, I was expecting more.
