With each passing day as hands-on brewers, we learn and we progress with our knowledge of raw material and process and how it influences the outcome of the finished beer. To that end, JJJuiceee Project Citra + Nectaron represents another leap in individuality, hop character, juiciness, and drinkability. It is loaded to the brim with these explosive and revolutionary hops! It’s a joyful explosion of flavor, saturated to the max with hops we have spent a great deal of time working to represent well. We taste overripe tropical fruit, juicy citrus, and summer melon propelled by a chewy body—Enjoy!

Pours a nice hazed-our orange, briefest fluffy white 1" head, very good lacing (as per usual from TH). Nose is a little brighter than a lot of their other offerings - peach rings and pineapple juice the biggest notes, followed by some spent grain, grapefruit oils, tangerine. There's some potpourri notes along as well. Pleasant, but doesn't knock your socks off. Taste is also a lot cleaner than many TH offerings (thinking Emperor Julius, Queen Julius, the Verys in particular) - peach candy, mango, maybe guava - your standard "heavy tropical fruit juice" flavors. Again, however, there's no vibrancy, no freshness or depth here. Reminds me of those big heavy boys on the bottom shelf - the tropical juices you open with a church key and glug out. Feel fits the bill - coating, thick, with some mild carbonation. Stare at that label and enjoy. Obviously YMMV.

Tree House JJJuiceee Project Citra + Nectaron NEDIPA 8.7% canned on 02/10/22. Poured into a 16 oz tulip glass, pours a very attractive hazy orange yellow with a finger plus sticky white head, that leaves a thin wall of lace, with incredible retention. 4.75
Aroma peach, mandarin, guava, mango, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.5
Taste peach, mango, mandarin, guava, and mild grapefruit very well balanced. 4.5
Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8.7% huge flavor but easy going down. 4.5
Overall another really impressive NEDIPA from maybe the best in the business. 4.5

Expected look from a hazy juicy Treehouse Imperial IPA - yellow orangish appearance with small lacing and a thick look. The aroma blasts away with the hop profile; plenty of tropical and citrus fruit plowing the nose. Citra I am aware of but Nectaron I was not familiar with. It turns out to be a New Zealand variety and likely this brew is made with Nectaron pellets. The taste is a bit jumbled, trying to figure out what it wants to be. The notes skew toward the tropical with banana, mango, pineapple dominating but the contrasting tangerine citrus notes seem to conflict rather than find harmony. I can get behind the chewiness and the finish is spot on.
