Metaconscious is our dry-hopped farmhouse ale. Brewed with a blend of traditional yeasts from Belgium and dry-hopped with Saaz and Amarillo hops, Metaconscious carries ethereal notes of citrus and spice balanced by a soothing bitterness. It is the ideal beverage to enjoy on a warm summer day alongside a meal of fish or a snack of your favorite cheese.

On tap at Tree House Charlton
It’s nice to be back drinking at the brewery. I made a spur of the moment trip up after work today once again because there was some beers I did not wanna miss out on. This is the dry hopped version of Metacognition, which I had a few months back. I thought it was okay, but I’m thinking this will be better. Let’s dive in
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with 2 fingers of creamy white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
This is definitely rustic and fruity in the nose, but the dry hop adds a nice touch. I’m picking up on aromas of wheat bread, honey, pear skin, herbal hops, white pepper, banana, toasted grain, and a touch of clove
Up front it’s pretty soft, but there’s a nice bite to the finish. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting wheat bread, banana, orange zest, honey, toasted grain, and light floral hops. The swallow brings notes of white pepper, pear skin, wheat bread, herbal hops, orange zest, wildflower honey, and light banana
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a zesty beer. Finishes a tad sticky but the hops dry it out
I liked this significantly more than Metacognition. It just has more life to it. We need more Tree House Farmhouse!

750ml capped bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Great looking beer. Pale goldenrod. 0.5 finger white head, stringy lace. Nice, sticky legs. Nose is floral and aromatic. I get coriander, peppercorn, wheat, and banana esters. Beer opens banana, peppercorn, and a wheaty sweetness. Middle is cane sugar, more banana esters, and a light, peppery bitterness at the end. Some lemon zest freshness in the aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down quenching, crisp. Clean finish with a lightly lingering aftertaste. Great drinker.
This one's somewhere between a wheat beer and a saison. It has likeable characteristics of both though.
