Guavas & Cream is a rendition of Haze featuring guava purée and vanilla! We utilize whole vanilla beans steeped in conditioning beer to extract the most authentic and beautiful vanilla character possible. The result is an uncompromising and incredibly delicious libation with notes of ripe guava, guava nectar, and guava creamsicle. It's a stunning and highly unique flavor profile, indeed! An ephemeral beer, you will want to keep it icy cold and enjoy it as fresh as possible for the best experience. Exposure to warmer temperatures will accelerate the degradation of the flavor profile. So, what are you waiting for?

If hops are supposed to taste fruity, then lets just jump to the chase and add those preferred fruits to the beer to begin with. And if you are Tree House, then your preferred fruit is guava.
Pouring with the viscosity of cottage cheese, Guavas & Cream kicks off with an expected turbidly hazy pour embedded into its dense golden frame right before enticing the nose with branch-ripe tropical fruit, citrus, vanilla and herb. Sweet and sultry to taste, the ale opens up with a creamy-sweet, vanilla drenched cereal, poundcake and honey sense of maltiness.
As the hops and guava washes over the middle palate, the flavors develop from orange and grapefruit to lime and passionfruit, to mango and papaya, and all with that envelope of guava tying the favors all together. Soothed with the taste of vanilla cream, the ale remains plump until the herbal taste of tea leaf, fresh spruce, balsa and verbena tighten its grip into a pleasantly bitter balance without compromising smoothness.
Full bodied, rounded and plush on the palate, the session finishes more malty than dry but with an even keel bitter sweetness that aids in drinkability. Its a deliciously bold, smooth and balanced taste that only Tree House can create.

16oz can dated 6/9/22.
Pours turbid gold with plenty of tattered lacework and persistent retention. Lush with guava, peach, orange, and mango in the nose. Hint of vanilla. Medium bodied with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Ripe tropicals on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Juicy guava, mango, peach and orange. Finishes juicy but fairly dry with lingering tropicals.

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Can is dated 06/09/22. Received from @WunderLlama in a ninja strike associated with NBS BIF #15.
Pours hazy pale orange, amber in the shadows, with a big creamy head that collapses to a level centimeter or so with big clumpy lacing. Smell is dominated by vanilla with a little tropical fruit underneath.
Taste is similar, very vanilla creamy with a little tropical in the background, and the hoppy bitterness doesn't mesh particularly well. Not terrible, but doesn't do it for me.
Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, no chalkiness like I detected with the other recent Tree Houses. Overall, this is pretty good, but I think it's not as good as their unfruited IPAs I've tried.

Picked-up two cans at Tree House in Sandwich recently for about thirteen dollars. My 262nd brew reviewed from these guys. Very good.

One finger frothy white foam cap over a hazy orange liquid, spotty lacings after some good retention
Aroma is guava and vanilla cream
The taste starts off sweet with vanilla, guava and then a pronounced hop bite
Good beer

Pours hazy, gold in color with one half inch head. Taste is big vanilla, guavas, and peach. Heavy body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Tree House can do no wrong with vanilla added versions of their beers and this fits the bill. Plentiful vanilla Taste but can still taste Haze. Delicious but maybe my least favorite of the and Cream series.
