With lineage from the United States, Europe, and Japan, “Pink“, a new hop grown by our friends at Jackson Farms Wilder, Idaho, has striking similarities to our beloved Galaxy varietal.
Featuring incredible tropical fruit bubblegum notes layered throughout the experience, Pink is a showcase for this delightful novelty from the Gem State. In addition to the beautiful tropical fruit character, we experience exotic notes of strawberry, sweet fruit, and mixed berries.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do, and if so, we may have found ourselves a true rarity in the Tree House line-up: a new core beer. Enjoy!

(16 oz can, LIVE WELL 6/12/2025; my bro purchased this at Cape Cod location, kept cold... poured at cellar temp into Trillium tulip)
L: cloudy yellow-amber liquid; fantastic stiff-peak foam, insane retention... fairly broad dense streaks of lace; head does fall once the liquid enter your head
S: mixed berry oatmeal, overripe orange peel, strawberry Starburst... green (cilantro?!) and grist dust with vague strawb highlights
T: dune grass, strawberry pith... curious absence (or deficit) of underlying sweetness at its core... the berry oatmeal essence clings to the sides of the palate... whoa! - halfway through and now I'm getting a strawberry ice cream flavor (or is it peach yogurt?)
F: strange drop almost immediately after each sip, just a zip and zoom and all that's left is a surprising degree of alcohol expression... I could easily get used to an example of this style with such a stark reverse surfeit of sludge... it's austere even
O: yeah, it initially struck me as not remotely unique from any of their other NEIPA, but there are subtle curiosities that do emerge... its relatively vacuum-ous degree of dryness is perhaps its most standout feature... not bad, for its ilk (2429)

16oz can dated 4/4/24.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch of white fluff. Persistent retention with plenty of spongy lacing. Pungent aromatics filled with dried mango, peach, papaya. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Zesty citrus on the palate with minimal malt and a balancing bitterness. Mango, peach, white grape. Finishes juicy with lingering citrus zest.

Had it in can 2 months after b.o.d. Dont know if it was mellowed by time or naturally so, but really liked that it wasn't a fruit punch in the face like some treehouse beers. Flavor profiles more subtle, easy drinking... More "refined" character? Great for any occasion, could be a standard go-to if it is available more often.

Given the brewery's description as potentially a new core beer, and the claimed similarity of the Pink hop to Galaxy, this cries out for comparison to Green, and there are similarities, but this is far more muted, especially on the nose. The flavor opens up though, and I got Mosaic-like berry notes and even a touch of apple. There is some bitterness, but not as much as Green. It's also more heavily carbonated than Green, and tastes "thinner".
If it becomes a TH core beer, I'll pick it up once in a while, but it won't replace Julius and Green for me.

Pours out the color of straw. Nice finger of white foam. Nose is slightly perfumey. I get some of that bubblegum that is referred to in the description. Slight stone fruit notes. Perhaps peach. On the palate, there is bright fruit, but not necessarily sweet. Unripened green strawberries. Low bitterness, not much grassiness. Very crushable IPA. With the ABV being 6.8, I can imagine someone drinking at least 2 of these without too much trouble. Especially when accompanied with a nice meal or perhaps snack. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Enjoyable but not as pillowy smooth as other Tree House IPAs. This is a good "almost" session IPA. A downshift from the likes of Julius and the crew, but still high enough to be potentially dangerous. Very drinkable, flavors are prominent, but not dominant, which adds to its allure. A fridge stuffer for occasions that call for a slightly lower ABV.

Pink
Tree House Brewing Compa... IPA - American
Saturated earthy hop bubble gum and fruity hop explosion. Incredibly smooth and grainy feel. Lush malt and thick hops. 6.8 is a basic hazy IPA and slightly easier to have a session with.
