This special rendition of JJJuiceee Project Features Galaxy + Galaxy + Galaxy. I know, it’s crazy, isn’t it? Featuring our favorite Australian hop in the kettle and dry hop, this rendition of the JJJuiceee also presents the very first liquid Galaxy product to make its way stateside.

We have a close relationship with our Australian growers, which has enabled us to maintain a steady stream of amazing Galaxy throughout the years. We have been pushing hard for the arrival of Spectrum, and when we finally received it stateside we began brewing with it immediately!

Pouring a ridiculous turbid yellow color into your glass, Galaxy + Galaxy + Galaxy tastes like juicy pineapple, mixed citrus, and earthy tropical fruit. It carries a sharp bitterness that fades quickly, enticing your next sip. What a treat!

Poured from a can into a teku glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazy orange juice and tangerine color with a big head of white foam. The head has an amazing level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a peach and apricot smell mixed with aromas of tropical fruits of tangerine, papaya, and mango. Along with these aromas comes a strong showing of a herbal and grapefruit hop as well as notes of pine and herb. There is also some harvest fruit and must, and a little bit of fruit punch like aromas, rounding out the smell nicely, and creating a nice inviting aroma overall.
Taste – The taste starts out with a juicy and bready flavor, with lots of peach, apricot, pear, and tangerine paired with some bready and doughy malt. Other light flavors of cherry and berry are there as well, with notes of lemon and oat. There is a moderately strong hop presence right from the start, which gets more intense as the taste advances on the tongue. The hop is heaviest of a herbal and grapefruit nature, but has hints of pine and floral hop. The later flavors get a bit more intense as the taste advances, and with a touch of must and hay, and a bit of toast coming on at the end, one is left with a malty, but rather nicely hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is very thick and chewy with a moderate level of carbonation. Good for the fresh hopped nature, malt, and the abv making for a nice sipper.
Overall - A quite flavorful and tasty IPA. Fresh hopped, malty and fruit heavy.

Immense juice character, and even a little thick and chewy, but without bing cloying. Primarily orange/tangerine and pineapple making up the fruit notes.

Dark yellow color with murky body. Got two fingers of dense, fluffy, white head

Acidic grapefruit on the nose, white grape, white wine, powdery malts

Taste follows the nose. Not particularly intense, but very solid presence of citrus , pineapple, and tropical notes

Full, fluffy body. No alcohol presence. Some lingering bitterness.

Solid Galaxy DIPA. It didn't hit on the intensity like I thought it would, but still good.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 4/12/23. Pours a very attractive hazy yellow orange with a finger sticky white head that leaves massive webs of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5

Aroma is peach, papaya, passionfruit, mango, apricot, and a whiff of pink grapefruit rind. 4.5

Taste fresco peach, papaya, passionfruit, mango, apricot, and again the smallest amount of grapefruit but each sip lingers on the palate. 4.5

Mouthfeel is above average for sure, soft gentle almost creamy carbonation, maybe a little dry and it plays well and sadly you drink it faster especially at 8.7%. 4.75

Overall I am digging this one a good amount and I normally prefer my Galaxy to have a friend in a supporting roll. Recommend for sure. 4.5

16oz. can into a Fuzzy pint glass.

Nice pour yields a huge fluffy white head. Stringy, patch lace. Hazy yellow color. Nose is unripened pineapple, light grassiness, touch of resin and orange zest. Surprisingly muted. Beer opens overripe mango and orange. Sweet pineapple, and overripe pear in the middle. Cane sugar throughout. Super juicy with a bone dry citrus fruit peel towards the finish. Body is light to medium with moderate to ample carbonation. Soft and fluffy on the palate with a bone dry finish and lingering aftertaste. Near perfect feel as per usual.

Really good rendition of an overhopped Galaxy beer. The body really carries the day here.
