Spritzy Lemon is a sublime fusion of wheat beer and freshly squeezed lemonade. Our shandy combines wheat beer’s subtle sweetness with lemonade’s citrusy tartness, offering a layered drinking experience. The beer part of the shandy, crafted from local wheat, offers a smooth, grainy flavor that dances pleasantly with the vibrant zing of fresh lemonade. Each sip begins with a crisp, citrusy note followed by a silky wheat body and finishes with a refreshing, slightly tart aftertaste.

Tree House Brewing Co. "Spritzy - Lemonade Shandy"
16 fl. oz. can coded "SUMMER 2025" and sampled on 5.27.2025
$108.70/24-pk mixed case "The Machines Are Taking Over!" at the brewery on May 15, 2025
Notes via stream of consciousness: This is a shandy as expected, combining wheat beer and lemonade. It's a hazy golden in color beneath a finger's width of bright white foam. The aroma is wheaty with lemon rather than the other way 'round. The taste follows suit, and I like that. This is a beer with lemon flavoring added, not a lemon soda with some beer thrown in. It's not too sweet, nor bitter, nor overly acidic. It's only 3.1% alcohol by volume but I'm guessing there's still a decent amount of calories involved. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. It's not the best shandy I've ever tasted but neither is it the worst shandy I've ever tasted by a long shot. For my tastes on a hot summer day I wouldn't even bother with the alcohol at just 3.1% but maybe that's just me. Forgetting that and just taking it for the taste it offers I like it and I might drink it but I'm a little torn between just drinking a lighter beer and drinking something else that's refreshing but non-alcoholic, a seltzer for example. All in all it's pretty decent but nothing to write home about.
