The Prodigal Haze Part II combines Citra, Nelson, and Rakau to create a symphony of tropical fruit flavor. Brewed with pale malt and a hint of extra light caramel malt, it has a hefty malt body to balance and propel the nearly eight-pound-per-barrel dry hop. Pouring a hazy, deep yellow color into your glass, it explodes on the palate with notes of candied citrus, mango nectar, and ripe papaya. It finishes softly with minimal alcohol presence, enticing your next sip. We find the best beers to be just as enjoyable at the the end of your glass as at the beginning, and The Prodigal Haze Part II embodies this ideal beautifully.

Opaque apricot nectar in color capped by a slightly yellow tinged fluffy head. Solid retention, clumpy lacing.
Nose pumps a massive, zesty tropical and citrus front that eventually makes room for some more subtle mango and grassy notes. Slight phenolic note that a little herbal and bandaid. But not necessarily a bad thing here.
Flavor is more tropical forward with a citrus zest chaser. Mango, papaya, pineapple, and then wet grass, tangerine and grapefruit rind. Again, there's an herbal spice that peeks in.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated, and finishes a tad warm.
