Aged five years in select bourbon barrels. Originally brewed in February of 2019 and barreled in March of the same year, Quintet is a pure expression of the eldest barrels in our ecosystem. A lot has changed since 2019; the world has undergone a rapid and ongoing transformation. Bridging the gap between then and now in a beer is a bit of magic, and beautifully encapsulates the power of our craft. Like age in us humans, the beer emerges with a few tired edges, but for every dusty note there is a complex chocolate character presented that would otherwise be impossible in a much younger beer. In addition, hints of chocolate wafer cookies, bourbon-soaked candy, and dark chocolate fudge lend texture and heft to this most sage offering.
