Even bourbon sometimes has trouble standing out among such bold pastry beers. But what's loved most about bourbon and what we love most about stout are both elevated in the capable hands of Tree House.

Jet black and pouring with the consistency of cake batter, Coconut Truth slowly releases a deep mocha whipped froth and an emboldened scent of pastry shops, coffee houses, tropical dessert, luscious chocolate and bourbon laced kahlua spice. As its most supple sip expands across the palate with ease, the tastebuds are awash in a depth of malt sweetness. Brown sugar, molasses, dark chocolate, sweet cream and brownie batter consistency coats the tongue before allowing the robust flavors of espresso bean, a hint of char and candied coconut to swoon the session.

Decadent, dessert-like and pleasantly chewy, the warmth of bourbon and seemingly kahlua give the effects of chocolate liquor with an aftertaste of chocolate and coconut in an extended afterglow.
