A knotwork of steel waits as still as cathedral air, the key nips at the piston’s heels, filling their lungs with a breath in their fist, a flame blinks like embers spilled, from the wake of a blade, now the legs are moving, a horse in the darkness, it needs no master and remembers, a language that’s unyielding and perpetual, a riot of gears that clears its throat and roars. Chain Reaction is a Triple IPA pouring a pale straw color with clouds of white foam rising above the glass. Utilizing a massive dose of Citra hops, notes of lemon zest and limeade popsicles. This beer is a tribute to all those who give us the spark that sets our life into motion.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours milky, pale gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is papaya and white wine. Medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter. Ok, not memorable

Pours cloudy opaque yellow gold with a dense creamy white foam head. Notes of grapefruity lemon-lime orange citrus, hints of pineapple, mango, tropical fruit, peach, melons, subtle juicy fruit bubblegum, some pale biscuity malts, minty peppery spice, and dank resinous earthy herbal floral grassy pine. Feels fuller bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice and refreshing hazy triple IPA.

Cloudy, dirty amber color. The head, while on the smallish side, sticks around throughout the tasting and leaves a web of lace throughout the tasting.
The smell is multifaceted with a clean malt up front and a subtle earthy and slightly floral hop in the background.
This is a rich beer in both flavor and body. It is malt forward with some alcohol warmth. The hop is more balancing than a bomb, making this a very appealing IIPA. At 9% abv, the alcohol is quite subtle. The finish is smooth with an excellent balance of hop (like a bitter spice) and a dry caramel malt flavor. Simply put, a superior beer.
