Four Star Fresh Hop Cascade is a wet-hopped Tree House pilsner brewed with pale malts and freshly harvested Cascade hops grown and cared for by our friends at Four Star Farms in Massachusetts.
The hops were added to the beer just a few hours after being harvested, which imbues their full lupulin potential atop this crisp lager. This beer pops with notes of sugared pomelo, pine resin, pink grapefruit candies, and floral spice .

Slightly cloudy, pale orange to yellow in color with a frothy white head. Head leads to nice lacing. Nose is slightly metallic initially then lemony overtones come through. Taste was zesty, pilsnerish, herbal.

12 oz can

Pours a cloudy golden straw color with a large sudsy white head. Solid retention. Leaves a few halos of lacing around the glass.

Aroma is citrusy and spicy. Notes of tangerine and grapefruit as well as cracked pepper, grass, and freshly baked bread.

Taste has honey wheat, citrusy hops, grass, and pepper.

Body is medium-light with moderate carbonation. A bit soft for the style. Drinkable. Dry on the finish.

Overall a pretty good American pils with a bright hop character. Nothing overly special about it but it’s crushable and clean.
