Swirling around the flavors of Italian spumoni gelato, Tree House's imperial pastry stout speaks straight truth.
Jet black, viscous as oil, and clinging to the glass like port wine, Spumoni Truth hits all the happy buttons with a rich and sultry scent of alcoholic brownie batter laced with bold cherry and subtle nuttiness. Decadent with chocolate fudge, chocolate covered espresso bean, blackstrap molasses and Neapolitan ice cream with a hearty slather on the tongue. Cake-like and balanced with bourbon nuances of coconut, vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, this dessert beer simply does it all.
There's just something about this savory, nearly salty, rounded and spicy stout that shows more balance and complexity than others in the Truth series.
