On draft at Boda in Portland, ME:
A collaboration between Other Half and Bunker, and advertised as a wheat IPL brewed with lacto:
Appearance: pours a bright, hazy, yellow with a quarter inch head of pure white bubbles. Sticky lacing on the glass left lots of rings as I drank.
Aroma: Lots of biscuity wheat and bready character, along with some citrusy sour notes. A little bit of funk in there too.
Taste: Opens citrus with lemon and some orangey taste, and provides a soft sour flavor. Some funkiness for sure present. Wheat provides a yummy foundation for the lacto and sour flavors.
Feel: medium-bodied and crisp, but with a somewhat sticky, lingering flavor.
Overall: yummy, with a unique flavor profile, especially from Other Half which seems to mostly bang out the hops.
