Clear bright amber with plenty of foam in the Crooked Line tulip. Rich and lush. It's quite sweet for a Saison, malty and quite honey tasting. Aromas of challah bread and that spicy hop note. I think of orange blossom honey. Also meaty, like a good BiƩre de Mars.

I mention the ingredients because this seems like such a mellow and drinkable example of a Saison: Tettnang and whole leaf Cascade hops with Honey and Amber malt. Finally the Belgian dry yeasty aftertaste kicks in. Totally delicious Saison and I'll look for it again. It's just so warm and rich. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery on El Cajon Blvd.
