Sizzling effervescence, forming a vibrant magenta head before rapidly fizzling out to nothing at all. Leaves a deep, dark ruby/purple body, clear and bright like a jewel.
Berries on the nose - ripe blackberry and raspberry are distinct, with a light sourness.
First thing that hits me is that the berry flavour is low-moderate, milder than expected after the aroma. Not that it's a bad thing. The berries are subtle, more of an accent. The next is the fine, vigorous effervescence on the palate, prickly, and providing a balance to the light acidity & sour notes. The acidity is at times both pleasantly soft and biting. Accompanied by only a very light yeast funk.

While I appreciate the deft touch with the fruit, it lacks expected complexity and yeast character. Certainly it still owns very good flavour and feel, and I enjoyed it. But my expectations were higher.

This one pours a deep, dark, and jammy looking purple/red color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like cherry wine, very sour black raspberry, jam, and red wine.

Due to the overwhelming nature of the fruits used, this is somewhat one-note. That doesn't prevent it from being really delicious, though - as it's just so seedy and jammy and vibrant. The raspberry does give off some cherry and wine-like flavors, along with a touch of oak and tannin.

This is creamy, and rich, with a great level of drinkability to it.

This is definitely one of the more bold entries in this series, and it's absolutely delicious.

The color on this is amazing. It is deep plum, violet, magenta. Beautiful bouquet of berry aromas. It's super jammy, has some cheerwine-like flavors. Tart and yummy. A terrific wild ale.
