Head does get a chance to form on the dull violet body.
Berries - strawberry, raspberry, and red currant on the nose. Relatively mild.
Maybe they drank too much of the wine while making this, because it falls flat across the board. Watery, musty, dim flavour. There's a lingering taste almost like pure alcohol. Bland. Yes there's a sense of pinot noir, but it's metallic and completely lacking anything interesting.
A rare miss my Bellwoods, I'm kind of shocked. Only reason to try this is to understand what a bad beer tastes like.
