Cosmic Tiara (an anagram for the hops involved in this bright IPA) utilizes Citra and Mosaic Cryo hops that collide like comets in the sky, creating massive aromas and flavours of Orange Creamsicle, fresh pineapple and dank pine notes.

2025 version of Cosmic Tiara is the same as the 2024 version.
So pours a thin foam head that goes away quickly. Pretty much no lacing.
Light yellow hazy color with slight orange tinge.
Pineapple and light citrous aromas. Again with the light pineapple and citrous when it comes to the taste.
Not very hoppy or bitter. This IPA reminds me of Purple Pacer or Purple Paisley that I've had recently. There isn't anything remarkable about this IPA at all. It'll get the job done if you want an IPA. I've had better from Bellwoods.

473 mL can from the brewery; dated Oct 9 2024 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a turbid straw yellow colour, generating less than a finger of soapy, sudsy white head that fizzles away within sixty seconds. A thin collar lives on, with stringy lace deposition after each sip; looks alright, and the aroma is enticing. In descending order, pineapple, orange, grapefruit and passion fruit are all discernible; there's also floral hops, pine needles, lime zest and gooseberry.
It's pretty darn good. Pineapple and orange are the primary flavours at the forefront, though hints of grapefruit, melon and passion fruit also flit across the taste buds by mid-sip. Piney and floral on the back end, with hints of citrus, tropical fruits, steel cut oats and vanilla fading into the aftertaste, which loiters on the palate. On the fuller side of medium bodied, with relatively low carbonation that brushes gently across the palate. Easy enough to toss back, but after one serving I'd prefer to move on to something else.
Final Grade: 4.03, an A-. Cosmic Tiara is quite good, but I'm hesitant to call it some of Bellwoods' best work, which may be related to the cryo hops. I don't necessarily dislike cryo, but it's not exactly a selling point for me, either. They actually work fine here - great aroma & good depth of flavour, though I would've liked a little more variety within the latter. Overall it's a solid hazy IPA that I'd encourage other BAs to try... I'd buy it again if it were available.

473ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchase from the brewery. Looks like October 6, 2024 canning date.
Appearance - Super hazy and turbid pale gold and white color combo. A finger of head that recedes somewhat quickly leaving a nice streak of lacing behind.
Smell - Pineapple and pine with orange lead leading the way. Good depth of aroma.
Taste - Orange leads the way with pineapple and some pine at the back end. Great depth of flavor and very complimentary. Wheat malt backbone.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied with spritzy carbonation.
Overall - Pretty solid IPA, juicy and flavorful. Bellwoods seems to be on a bit of tear lately with some of their recent IPA's being among the best I've ever tasted from them. Cosmic Tiara is just another example of that.
