Appearance: Poured with a single finger's worth of head that retained very well and left a solid amount of lacing. The body is a cloudy yellow, which for a more a Keller could be cloudier and darker and for a pilsner is the right color and cloudy, so for the hybrid I'm judging it as, I'd say it's solid.
Smell: Getting more pilsner then keller on this, as absent are the peppery notes or odd spice notes. Instead I'm getting a bit of mild wet straw and what I think are cascade hops. There's nothing wrong with it as a pilsner, but I'm expecting something a bit funkier if you are leaning into the keller branding. It's potency is fine.
Taste: Straw malt with some dry yeast spice funk which I will hesitantly call the mildest of cumin? Turns to some wheat notes and some berries and soft fruit is a meld that nothing really stands out before rounding out with a mix of sandy and clean hops.
Mouthfeel: So the sandy part of the hops dominates the aftertaste, but it never gets out of control, but isn't exactly what I was hoping for. The transitioning is solid, but it's fairly steady. The carbonation is solid. It leans far more into the pilsner then the keller aspect.
Drinkability: Light Medium in terms of body, and refreshing enough, although I wouldn't quite call it a summer guzzler. Settles down well which is nice, and interesting but I can't help but shake that if this was branded as an unfiltered pilsner or something else, it would be faring better with me.
Final Thoughts: There used to be a Kellerbier Creemore Springs used to make, way back before they were bought out and their beer seemed to go downhill. That I feel was the textbook Keller in my eyes (although it was my first). Since then, the style hasn't done for me, and that's pretty much how I feel about this beer. Let me be clear, there's nothing wrong with this beer, and as a hybrid between that and a pilsner, this does well (although more Pils again). It just isn't what I'm looking for sadly, I want a bit more color and funk.

Great.
Overall a very solid beer. I know if i were to buy online again from this company that I would put this beer back in the cart.
Easy to drink multiple of these beers at a time and wish i purchased more than just 1 to try.
I'll catch you next time, Keller Pils.
