Decent amber. Maltiness falls a bit short of expectation. Drinks easy.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass.
L - Pours a clear amber/copper with about a finger of off-white head that leaves a generous lacing. Nice looking amber.
S - Toasted bready malt, dark roasted coffee, caramel, vanilla, some earthy hops
T - Follows the nose with rich, malty notes, coffee, caramel, vanilla, some grain and earth hops mixed in.
F - Light-to-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sticky towards the back but very drinkable.
O - I love Dragoon’s flagship IPA and Pils, and this is a solid, balanced offering as far as ambers go. The can doesn’t list the ABV but at 6.5%, per their website, it does the trick after one or two. A nice offering that I’ll definitely get again.

Nice thick head and rich color. Taste is quite malty with hints of caramel. Canned a couple of weeks ago and it does taste fresh. Not bad, but not up to something like Alaskan Amber quite yet.
