"Light Beer" is inspired by warm leisurely days fueled with the lawnmower beers of yesteryear.

Type: 12-oz. can
Reviewed as: American Light Lager
Glass: North Park 16-oz. Willi Becher glass
Price: $10.99 for a 6-pack
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: July 15, 2022
Consumed: July 15, 2022
Misc.: Canned on May 24, 2022
Went to grab a 6-pack and a few cans at Windmill Farms and came home with 29 beers, spending way too much money. Had seen this way too many times in the store without pulling the trigger so finally did today, almost buying a 12-pack instead. Untappd description was “This crisp and refreshing, 4.5 % no-frills beer is bound to be your new fridge staple. Inspired by the easy-drinking, low-ABV lawnmower beers of yesteryear, Light Beer is for any time, anywhere, and anyone- we made this beer for the brewers, your dad, your mom, the ironic hipsters, the beer pong bros, and the beer connoisseurs. Clean and simple, this beer was made to complement good times.”
Poured a straw-to-pale yellow clear color with three fingers of rocky white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass and more faster along the sides. Decent watery lacing. Very bad retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled corn, grass, sweet grain and dish soap. Really smelled like a basic American Adjunct Lager. A little cracker and biscuit from the can. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted about as good as the nose, maybe a little better. In order got corn, grass, sweet grain, pear, apple, dish soap and buttered cracker. (Taste - 3.50)
Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Good overall but nothing I’d need to have again. Wish I would’ve just gotten a solo if I could’ve found one. (Overall - 3.75)

Here I am with this one as it is with me. Wish I did more. Wish I did less of certain things too. Sitting here, pondering… more or less about void (one in which I created). But right now, this beer is ok. It is ok.
