Dust off your jetpack… the Wave of the future is here. Blast off to infinity with this westcoast gizmo. It buzzes with aromas of resinous pine trees. Hints of sharp citrus fruit and apricot zap your palate and the bitterness that first lasers in lingers on, providing a landing pad for the rest of the beer’s intergalactic flavors.

Misc.: Canned on Dec. 22, 2021
Went to Windmill Farms for some bread and a 6-pack of Enegren’s The Lightest One, and came back with nine other singles. Beer description was “Dust off your jetpack… the Wave of the future is here. Poured a pale yellow-to-medium yellow clear color with four fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled peach, apricot, passion fruit, pine, resin, orange, Tang, herbal, tea, wet grass and floral. Better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got peach, apricot, passion fruit, pine, resin, bitter aspirin, orange, Tang, herbal, tea, wet grass and floral. No mention of hops, but I’d lean toward Galaxy and Idaho 7, among others. Grew on me each sip. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This one grew on me a little bit. Very good overall. (Overall - 3.75)

Draft at the source. Excellent west coast ipa, clean and bitter but very approachable. Light in color and bitterness for a typical west coast ipa. Finish is crisp with a slightly bitter finish

Pours a mostly clear light golden color with a fresh white head . Smell is fruity and tropical with citrus and melon. Taste has oranges ,melon ,pineapple ,berries and slight pine. Mouth is soft but does have some dryness and bitterness. Not a WCIPA for me , it is juicy and tasty thou.

Clear amber brew with sticky foam in the nonic. Lush and frothy on the tongue. Pleasingly aromatic with melon and pine. Very flavorful with grapefruit, pineapple, candied lime peel, and a long green melon finish.
Overall this is a smooth and highly quaffable hoppy brew. Not acidic but tangy enough to lively it up. Long-lasting fruit flavors so much better than so many icky and dank concoctions. From the 16 oz can purchased at some beer store. Dated 12/22/21.
