Golden to amber in color with a thin amount of head.

Aroma is citrus, lemon, and spice.

Taste is earth, spice, pepper, and hops.

Mouthful is medium to light with lower carbonation than expected. Finish is bitter and dry.

Very enjoyable however the flavors could be a bit more pronounced.

The straw from the scarecrow with little taste, looks, interest. On tap at the brewpub. Not so drinkable unless you like watered down beer. Medium yellow body.

Draft at the source.

Transparent golden body with a thin white cap. Aromas of floral notes, assorted spice, earth, citrus, hops. Bold spice character blending with herbal, grassy, resinous hops. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good.

Poured on tap into a snifter glass at the brew pub.

A real nice peach orange to bronze body, with good clarity. Minimal carbonation, with a nice light thin bubbled head.

Bouquet has some mild caramel, not much hint of dryness going on. Quite closed with a subtle florality to it also.

Palate is a giant slap in the face. Big palate destroying notes of heavy dry heat and black pepper. Nearly palate wrecking. Earthy and big notes of pith citrus get exacerbated by this, with all the sledgehammering of dirt ,earth and with a yeasty wallop. Crisp body and heavily tonic and mineral feeling.

This is a total farmhouse/brett heads beer, and it's quite off the charts on balance and flavor going for extreme power, or just... unleashed with no control, whichever your pick.
