a well refined modern lager, clear and bright and bubbly and with a nice dry hop on it, not over the top, but it adds some fruity freshness and a little more interest than their other lagers have, but these guys have long been making some quality lager beer. this is blonde and light, love it being so low alcohol, and the fruitiness the hops bring is fun, i could have made a day of these. the lager yeast is subtle in aroma and flavor but not invisible, its bready and adds just a little european character, so clean though, and this is dry and fast on the palate with rushing carbonation. the hop addition isnt overdone, its got lemon and tangerine nuance, and stays low oil and delicate, even though its distinct through the back half of this. the bitterness stays light but it does crisp the finish up a bit. definite citrus as it warms, maybe a green grape snappy fruit thing too, refreshing, light in body but not thin feeling, and overall really solid. nice to rip through a bunch of new stuff when we were in recently, its always the same stuff in cans down in boise, but they keep it fresh at their locations up in sun valley. i hope this one makes it to cans, a nice addition to their lineup for sure.
