Always on the lookout for a good session IPA, I ran across this one (cans) in Wells (Towson, MD). As usual, I checked BA before buying. The "Exceptional" rating made me pick it up. I was not disappointed. Nice hazy gold in the glass with a huge foamy head (can you say "lacing?"). Bright fruity hops in the nose, with the same upon initial taste (since most was foam anyway, at that point). Flavor was well balanced, fruity/citrusy hops and flavorful malty backbone that helped the mouthfeel a great deal. Perfect carbonation. Perfect ABV. Altogether a really good buy. Enjoyed it!

Got this from spelingchampeon. 12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a delicious session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Citra, Azacca, and Kohatu hop showcase. Awesome balance of vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a solid pale malt backbone, and no residual sweetness. Very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Golden blonde. Moderate carbonation. Pours a white head.
Hops couldn’t be more on point. Between the nose and taste it’s hard to believe this is a session. Well done Neshaminy Creek!

This is an amazing beer! I hope Neshaminy decides to make this year round because it's got everything the discerning beer drinker needs for a Tuesday-night-hanging-around-making-dinner beer.

The hop profile is incredibly on point, especially the citra. Very full bodied, hard to believe this is as sessionable as it is. I will gladly buy this over other Session IPAs for everyday drinking and probably will buy this over Shape of Hops To Come too because it's just that good.

Beer moron out.
