16oz can into a pint glass. no freshness dating. From yesterday evening.
dark orangish body, small white head. Decent fruity aroma. On tasting, pineapple is there, but not front and center. More of a light tropical mix.

16oz can served in a WABL sample glass. No date on the can that I can see. Got it from @ozzylizard in NBS BIF #17.
Hazy amber-yellow, a little bit of head. Aroma definitely has a canned pineapple juice vibe to it.
Creamy sweetness, pretty strong citrus rind bitterness bitterness. Pineapple is not so distinct, I get mostly a vague tropical fruit juice.
Pretty creamy texture, fairly dry finish. Overall, this is a nice beer and I like it.

9/20/21...mostly clear, semi cloudy, with light top of white foam.Pineapple fruit forward nose. Light malt backbone. Fruit forward flavor. Holds and then segues into a resin hop back. All under the pineapple spell. Lingering bitter. Nice.

Canned 12-21-20.
A - Medium gold color with some slight haze and light, steady, carbonation. Lacing sticks to the sides of the glass.
S - Pineapple is the main event on the nose (go figure, right?), with a little bit of citrus and a kiss of sweet malt.
T - Pineapple with spicy pineapple rind, some herbal character with a little bit of berry and mango. Finishes on the sweeter side with a lingering pineapple / mango with some peppery spice. Some alcohol pokes through after awhile but never detracts from the beer.
M - Thick mouthfeel with soft carbonation that finishes soft on the palate.
O - A nice variant of the original but still prefer the original.

Pineapple on pizza, pineapples in turkey stuffing, why not pineapples in beer? A pint can poured into a clear glass Imperial pint mug will provide clues. It's a dense orange-amber color with plenty of head and lacing in the glass. There is a hint of fruit in the aroma, as well as malt and hops. This is a smooth and not overly sweet DIPA. Nor is it hoppy. The finish is more of an alcohol than fruit or hop laden affair, but the 8.8% ABV is a reasonable excuse for that. An interesting concept that somehow works.

Got a pounder of this for around 6 bucks into a pint glass.
A - Hazy as advertised with a 1/2 inch of froth good orange brown color.
S - Slight pineapple in the aroma but it smells mostly of fruity mango hops. Sweet is good!
T - Quite an interesting combination tries to be bright and floral but sort of bogged down with a musty flavor of a pineapple core. Pity I wanted to like it.
M - Quite smooth bitter, fruity but overall medium and easy to pound.
Overall for 9% its pretty good but I may have an older can here because the fruit isn't as sweet as I expected so it to me is just a slightly tasty DIPA.

Poured from undated can into a Neshaminy Creek pint glass. It pours a cloudy, dirty pineapple color with floaties, and a thin, milk-white head and soapy lacing. It smells of pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, and lite floral hops. The taste opens with a nice balance of sweet, ripe pineapple, tart citrus, orange peel, honey, resinous pine, bubblegum, and slightly bitter Mosaic and Citra hops. It finishes with herbal notes. This ale is medium-bodied, slightly sticky, with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the 9% ABV is potent. Overall, while I was a little skeptical at first, this DIPA is flavorful and well-made. It has big pineapple flavor but it's not overly sweet. This beer screams for drinking on a hot summer day at the Shore.

Pours an opaque light straw color with just under a finger of head. The nose has notes of over rippened citrus fruit. The flavor is also citrusy. The finish is juicy but only slightly bitter.

Hazy dark orange with a finger of off white head. Modest lacing.
Big fresh pineapple in the nose continues to the taste where it's couple with a solid malt backbone. Moderate bitterness on backend.
Medium to heavy bodied with good prickliness in the feel.
Nice pineappley take on the original.
