This new Belgian-Style Farmhouse Ale is full of lively fruity yeast esters with a refreshingly dry finish to keep ya humming. Farmhouse Ales were originally brewed at a time when it was a little dangerous to drink water so farmers would brew them to stay alive. Luckily today, we get to just do it for fun! Humdinger has a traditional farmhouse grist comprised of wheat, spelt, and pilsner malt. The yeast is the real showcase here and brings forth the aromas and flavors of stone fruit tea, lemon peel, and wild flowers with an earthy spice and bitterness. A real humdinger is there ever was one and the best springtime brew.
